Temps

Setting up a 400 HPS (air cooled) in a closet. It is my understanding that a temp in the 70-75 F (no CO2) is good. Where is this temp measured? Pot? Plant tip? Because, I would assume there is going to be a difference.
 
you should know all areas... but the top of the canopy is the best place to know.
 
I use the overall temp of the room/grow space. The canopy top will always be warmer since it is closest to the lights. It's the temp of the roots that is most critical. Keep your temp below 80 and you will be fine. They do ok in higher temp but your yield will suffer.
