can anyone tell me how much it costs to run a 400watt hps from start to finish?

I can't say the exact price .... but it is going to be cheaper than buying the same amount that can be grown . as long as you don't get caught that is .

Depends on how much you pay per kilowatt hour. If your paying the national average of 12 cents it would be :

Veg 1 month at 18hours/day $27
Flowering 1 month at 12hours/day $17.88
Flowering 1 month at 12hours/day $17.88

TOTAL: $62.76
