Tomato plants similiar?

I was in a Sunshine Hydroponics store yesterday, I was looking for some nutes, I made a hint, (if your a stoner than that person would know) to the guy working there about which would be the best nutes for my grow. He said why is that what your using it for? We need to be clear here. I instantly thought that if I said ya he would have told me that I needed to leave store. I just want to be blunt with them to find right nutes, maybe they don't need my business. What I'm getting at is, Is a tomato plant relatively similiar, so next I go can I just say for my tomato plants? Also has anyone heard of any nutes plugging up there dripper system? (not meaning salt buildup)

You can use tomato nutes or stuff for giant sunflowers. Flowering i use rose bloom formula.

Tomato nutes will work, anything thats is good for fruit or flowers,
alot of organic nutes will clog up the drip emitters..

Genetically, tomato plants are very similar to cannabis. They also both suffer from the same sort of disease problems. So when you're starting out just ask your local quality nursery about growing tomato plants.
