Too much water

My buddy and growing partner was changing the water in our hydro setup the other night and he accidently flipped the switch on the timer to make it run. The water pumped all night until he got there the next day. I was jus wondering if this will cause a big problem and if so what we can do to lower the impact it will have. Thanks.
