Westford Police arrested two men Thursday at the Cumberland Farms on Littleton Road on a charge of possession of marijuana. Officers arrested James W. Mulligan III, 19, of 255 North Road, Unit 44, Chelmsford, at approximately 8:15 p.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana and intent to distribute. As the result of a brief investigation, detectives set up surveillance and Detective Ken Delaney and Detective Mark Chambers say they observed Mulligan packaging marijuana in his vehicle in the parking lot of Cumberland Farms. Officers seized approximately one quarter pound of marijuana, estimated value $450, drug packaging equipment and a small amount of cash. Officers arrested Jared M. Kehoe, 18, of 526 Wellman Ave., Chelmsford, on a charge of possession of marijuana. Kehoe was searched in connection with this incident and police said they found two small bags of marijuana hidden inside his shorts.

Mulligan and Kehoe are employees of the Cumberland Farms but were not working at the time of their arrests, according to police.
