Up-potting: Is it really necessary?

My soil IS TLO. Emilya unofficially mentored me for the begining stages of my grow. My soil was built with amendments and just relies on the microbes naturally occurring in and added to the soil to break down all the nutrients into forms usable to the plant. I dont have to add anything. Just water will do. I occasionally do make a compost tea though.

There’s a lot of knowledge and experience and; interestingly, some nicely done experiments on meaningful topics.
I started my first grow in five gallon fabric pots. I can see where filling up a smaller cube and then giving it more room to grow evenly is of benefit. Learning to water was also important. I believe it was Emilya’s article.

Total living organics. Yes, Its by the rev and is the book Emilya reccomended I read.

I up pot all the time, some don’t have enough space tp In forever pots from the start. So for me it has worked flawlessly. And helps root development as well. I’m using smart fabric pots with Velcro fasteners that’ I reuse over and over as I up pot to the next size or two and harvest leaving more room - in the room to uppot again.... that’s how I roll! Sort of a perpetual rotating grow .

Where you find those “smart pots with Velcro? I was thinking on maybe making my own but hell, if someone else is already on the stick I’ll just buy them.

Geopot is just one manufacturer here on 420 that have them, there are many on line as well. Lol

Thanks, Bobrown14... I've found that necessity Is the mother of invention, my limiting factor is space-and the best way to utilize it to my advantage, and the challenge. So far it’s working out well I can grow autos, photos, or any combination of both under24/7-12/12- 18/6 -20/4 or any thing that paddles your boat with good to outstanding results and no real problems.
