Using cannon T5

I purchased the cannon t5 for my specific garden camera . I am by no means a photographer , but it has an additional macro lense that can be purchased . My problem is right now when i am taking my pictures it seems to be taking them in a raw form and then I have to use the additional provided software to convert the file to a normal format . This is all good enough and I have done so , but it seems that the file size on every photo is too big and it won't let me upload them . Any one able to help me out with this problem

You should take photos in the jpeg format (compressed), instead of the RAW format (Digital Negative, huge files)

Here are instructions from your camera manual :high-five:

If you use the highest jpeg setting, the images are only 6.4 MB instead of 25 MB in RAW

You can reduce the size even more, without compromising quality, with MS Paint or Picasa on the PC
