Vick In Court

It's time to face the music for former Virginia Tech quarterback Marcus Vick. Vick pled guilty Tuesday in a New Kent County courtroom to reckless driving on Interstate 64 and no contest to possession of marijuana.

For the driving charge, he lost his license for 60 days and has to pay a $300 fine. For the drugs, Vick will enter a court-sponsored program for first time offenders. Once he fulfills the program requirements, the judge could dismiss the drug charge in a year.

"You're got the chance to be something extra special...I hope you take advantage of it, turn your life around in the right direction," said Judge R. Bruce Long.

Just hours before Vick was sentenced to appear in court, Virginia Tech suspended him for the fall semester.
