Watering before 24 hour forced darkness into flowering stage.

I've decided after reading and hearing from friends who grow that I want to put my girls in to 24 hours forced darkness before flowering. I'm ready to put them in tonight but it's also time to water. So I'm unsure if I should just put them into dark and water after the 24 hours, or water and wait until tomorrow? It doesn't seem like a good idea to me to water and put them in darkness because wet and dark equal fungus lol. So what's everyone's thoughts on watering before 24 forced dark into flower?

It will make no difference, just water them if they are bone dry. Otherwise, put into flower. Good luck my friend!
