Watering cold or warm water

I have a DWC recirculating setup on my first indoor grow and I'm not sure if I need to warm my water. Room temps are around 65*degrees and I'm sorta thinking that is cold. Is it too cold for the roots? Does it even matter? With the lights on, the grow area is around 70*-75*degrees tops. should that also be warmer? Any advice will be greatly appreciated...:thanks::hmmmm::hmmmm::hmmmm:

What is the temp of the water? Can't really say if it is too cold or warm, without knowing what it is.

Water temps need to be around 68 degrees. Around 60, the plant slow to a crawl in growth. Over 70 you start getting problems with root rot.

I just put a thermometer in the water and its 63*degrees. It seems that the growth is a little slow from other grows I have been looking at on this site so that's why I asked...I appreciate your help. Should I put something around my buckets to keep it warmer or put a heater in my reservoir? Any input is very valuable and appreciated.:thumb::thumb::thumb:
