I read a lot about flushing 1 to 2 weeks before harvesting.
Then I read to just use water 1 to 2 weeks before harvesting.
Is just watering enough or should I take my plant to the sink and run water through it for a while. thanks, gawcrea

Well I suppose there are two different kinds of "flushes". There is the kind of flush that you do during the grow when you have nute problems (lockout, toxicity, pH issues, etc.) and there is the kind of flush you do at the end of the grow.

The flush at the end of the grow is used to make sure that the plants use up all of the nutes that are stored in the plant in order to make the smoke smoother and better tasting. You are supposed to have runoff when you flush but you don't have to put your pots under the faucet and dump gallons and gallons of water in them. If you just give them straight water for the last week or so (with runoff), you will be fine.

If you want to harvey with in a certain time frame you could look towards chemical flushes such as florakleen or clerex.
