What are the best, cheapest lights you can get?

I wanna start growing but need some good advice. Any experienced growers out there with some good hints?

well mate,to start yas off i would go for fluoresent strip lights.....theer the chepest for value and i say strip lights compared to compact flouros as strip lights cover more space
