When should they be watered?

hi im new to all this growing but i have invested money in a big tent carbon filter and thermostat etc i need to know i have planted seeds and put theunder a 250 w light neally 18 hrs now when should they be waterd.

okay i think i had the light abit to close to them and thank you for the reply and what a great name same as mine lol

Stick your finger into the soil (2-3 inches), if the fingertip is dry, water a little. Watch for water running out, not more that 10-15% should run off.
