how can you tell when seeds are ready when your have hermies in your auto?

I would say just like any other pot seed, photo or feminized or auto, they would have to be a hard dark brown, tan or greyish color with tiger like stripes on the shell to be viable. Green or white soft seeds are immature seeds.
They have hermie autos now? The world keeps turning.
