And some 60- 100 watt ones
What could I use them for?

Really not sure what sort of bulbs they are to be honest ?
Not all bulbs are suitable for growing.
Most of use HPS/HID for flowering.
MH for vegetative growth even tho MH is slowly falling out of favour with more people using T5 / 8 tubes or CFLs.

On the box the 300 watt one said it was pure bright light. The light itself is the size of my middle finger. It will be used for a little closet. Would you recommend this or buying something else? Or is there anything I could add to this light?

You may wish to read this link first - The Basics Of Plant Lighting
The likely chance of bulbs you have laying around being of correct colour spectrum & other variables for optimal growth is questionable ?
Other wise they may grow a plant... but don't know how well or even produce a suitable yield ?
Proper grow spec lights may produce results like this...
