Woman Arrested On Marijuana Charge.

A 25-year old Chadron woman has been arrested on drug charges following a search of a residence.

Chadron Police served a search warrant at 112 Belle Fourche Ave at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 17 and located numerous items of drug paraphernalia as well as a safe containing 117 grams of marijuana, according to a news release.

Arrested as a result of the search was Amanda Qualley, who is being held on a Class III misdemeanor charge of possession of more than one ounce but less than one pound of marijuana, a Class III felony charge of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and a Class III(A) felony charge of child abuse.

Qualley is being held in the Sheridan County jail on a $25,000 bond, the release said.

Assisting in the investigation were the Nebraska State Patrol, Dawes County Attorney's Office, and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
