Would you recommend drying the whole plant vs the plant in parts?

I have read that different people do different things. I would likely dry 2 auto plants at 1 time in a 2x2x4 drying tent. Would you recommend hanging the whole plant in 1 part or divide it into lots of parts and hang the parts on the twine in the tent?

Cut off the major fan leaves and then hang them is what I normally do. If the plant is massive I will half or quarter it. The major difference is time. Whole plant dries nice and slow which is what you want in my opinion. But you can adjust as needed
