So I want to know what people think best dry method and please explain in comments why ...whole plant dry or hang the braches, or Buds

My preference is whole plant drying because I like the way it dries the buds very slowly. I did this last year for the first time, the plants were quite large and were hung for over 3 weeks then dry trimmed over several days and then jarred, by which stage they were already on the way to be cured, so I only needed to burp their jars twice. Even now a year later the jarred buds are still gooey and sticky on the inside.
I think any of those approaches is fine, it is just down to personal preference and how well it is done.

I've only tried drying 2 ways
individual branches hung
and branches in a cardboard box in a climate controlled room
the box method requires you "stir" the contents regular or
you get flat on one side buds and they don't dry properly
but its very effective and lets me see any loss of the kief
I am all about a natural looking bud, I feel like the store bought
buds are so processed that by the time the smoker sees them
so much has been trimmed and shaken off that you loose most of the good stuff
and they sell it back to you separately a gram at a time for 60 bucks
