Drying whole plant or branches?

You can do it either way. Doesn't really make a difference. I remove all my Fan Leaves while the plant is still whole & then hang branches or sections of branches. I just removed the leaves from this one this morning. I'll chop it in a day or two.

I'm a novice but prefer doing a decent trim, branch by branch, and do a bud wash and then hang. I find that the leaves are sticking out better fresh. When I hang it to dry before trimming they seem to curl down and go limp and I can't get near as close of a trim. I think that the less material hanging lets it dry better. Just my opinion.
PS - I don't get too crazy about trimming - I'm not worried about looks - I take it down flush with the buds and call it done!!
