Yellow leaves

Hello: I am a first time grower. i have my seedlings under a flourescent light and i am going to switch to 1000 watt light. it is over 3 weeks and they are ony 3 inches but the leaves are big but now the bottom leaves are starting to turn YELLOW. I have them in coffee cups , maybe the cups are to small and i should transplant to the 3 gallons buckets. thank you

Hey man, if the plants were root bound you would see a lot of roots out of the bottom of the cups. If they 3 week old the soil or whatever medium your using may of run dry of food. Yellowing from the bottom is standard N deff. Feed your plants with a normal NPK grow, start half strength. Or re-pot into a new medium and just water as there will be new food in the new medium.
