Yellowing and necrosis during veg

Do you think I should go to 1/2 strength before going to full, or should I just jump straight up?

Go to full rate of application of nutrients your plant needs a jolly good feed & that should be good enough to help curb any further degeneration seeing suitable improvement of over all health of plant with in a few to several days.

Also, I'm hoping to add the 2nd CFL when I start flowering. Do you think I should do that gradually, introduce another 200 watts on top of the usual 200?

Ye just stick it all in the more light the merrier for flowering :thumb:

The poor thing is a mess. I've decided to turn it into four clones, which I've never done before. Hoping to get rid of all the damaged roots. Very nervous.

I have used Monterey Garden Insect Spray with Spinosad and Monterey All Natural 3 in 1 Garden Insect Spray to kill spider mites. I add 3-5 drops per gallon of Ivory Liquid Soap as a surfactant to help the spray stick to leaves and stems better. I spray every 3 days alternating the 2 Monterey products for 2 weeks to kill adults and larvae as they hatch. Sierra Natural Sciences also makes 2 products to kill spider mites SNS-217C Concentrate and SNS-209 Systemic Insect Control.

Yeah, the SNS spray was good. I haven't seen any mites since I used it two weeks ago. I no longer know what the problem is and will try the clone thing, hoping/assuming to bypass damaged roots or something.
