Young plants budding

These plants are a couple weeks old, approximately 10 inches tall, leafes are small, and theyre budding already. I brought them outside because the weather's nice. My question is do plants bud more on the light cycle or age? I knew they were getting the darkness for budding outside, but figured they were to young to worry about them budding early. I'm new to this.

Good question. I'm thinking if the plants are photoperiod (5 - 6 months to develop) then they probably need to go under the lights to develop this time of year. If they are auto's (roughly 3 months to develop) then they may mature outside.
Have fun with your grow, it's a learning curve and we all have gone through it.
