So i have a question, will a 1000 watt hps be enough light for a 5ft by 5ft by 7ft tent? I have a pretty big reflector for it. Just wanting some information on 1000watt hps

most manufactures claim a 5 X 5 to 7 x 7 area in a 1000 watt hps.
5 x 5 is the safer bet.
two 600 or even 400 watt may do better. two hps paired will hit above the sum total of their wattage and get better coverage. used to do semi-commercial in three 8ft x 8ft spaces. did paired fixtures for great results.
