2015 World Cannabis Week

re: 2015 World Cannabis Week

In my state, you get 18 months in state jail (prison) for just a brownie.
A friend did 90 days for a roach that the weed fell out of. It was empty, just the burnt paper.
You Freeland folks have no idea what being green in an ultra conservative state is like.

re: 2015 World Cannabis Week

HAPPY 420 Cajuncelt & all.

God Bless us every one. He Blessed us with His all-in-one medicinal plant, food plant and clothes plant. I call it a miracle, it has saved my life. It will save many.

It's 4/20, Write/email your congressperson and senator today. TODAY! Tell him that he is extending the suffering of millions of Americans. Tell them you vote. They do listen if they get constituent emails and postal mail. I have heard that one letter or email is like 50 phone calls.

I don't mean to be testy, but have any of you done that? Especially today. They need to know we vote and expect them do make the medicine available. Let us grow our own medicine. FREELY!

Happy 420 everyone.

Cajun, thanks for all the info and photos. I'm wishing I was there with you pal. Sorry for hijacking your wonderful thread. Happy 420 and have a great time!

I have talked to my Congress woman 3 years ago while I was remodeling her kitchen, very nice lady, said she would look into it, two months later she quit and went to work for a big Corp. making big bucks. My point, all they are willing to give is lip service. We are legal here now and can grow medical MJ but we are still regulated. Once the other states and country's figure out how much tax money they can make it will be legal world wide. Lets see LEO (Law Enforcement Officer) stop the hobby growers. :high-five:

Well well CC,, I see you are now a member of the mile high club,,:rofl:Seriously I never new it came with a passbook :circle-of-love:
Only kidding Ji,, :circle-of-love:

I'm editing dozens of pics. I didn't think about posting my face on here.
As I'm still in outlaw country, I need to figure out how to blur my face, but i don't have an editing program. Lol. Might be a good thing for y'all.
I've got plenty of pics & video not showing me though & I'll get started uploading everything.

It was surreal...I can't wait to put it all together.

Looking forward to it Cajuncelt.

Bucket listed...so you died went to heaven and now you are back to reality... Well at least you are in the same country as heaven. Grass is greener on the other side, just depends on what side your talking about, lol... Looking forward to your next posts..

Final Pics-Sat. thru Monday, 4/20
I woke up a lil later Saturday am, but hauled butt to meet up with Jorge Cervantes for the grow tour/class.
The building didn't look like much, but once inside it was room after room of beautiful plants.
The veg part of the grow is 3 levels of trees!
I learned so much that I truly feel like a newbie again. They harvest pounds & pounds every month.
The scale of the grows & the health of every single plant was mind blowing! One thing is that its ALL organic.
I'll let the pics speak for themselves.

I was running late to the seminar after the tour with Jorge Cervantes. I finally found where I was supposed to be, but security didn't have any of my info & held me up for another 15 mins before finally letting me on stage.
So, I finally sit down with the other speakers & noticed they all had pages of notes they made. I didn't have a single note. I knew what I wanted to say & was prepared for any questions.
The edibles folks went 1st & then both of us "medical" speakers.
I spoke on the cannabis oil and its treatment of chronic illnesses, especially cancer.
I was told I spoke for 30+ mins so I was glad.
When I was speaking, the lights shining on me were VERY hot so I was not only burning up, but I couldn't see the audience very well. That was an awesome thing due to my nervousness as I pretended there was no one there! Lol.
After I spoke, I answered ?'s from the panel 1st & then the audience.
I was shocked. The audience was so curious to know more & know more details. Even after the seminar, I was followed around by a small group that continued to pick my brain.
I don't have many pics of the seminar (I wasn't taking selfies), but I'll edit this thread & add the pics/videos when PACT sends them.

After the seminar on Saturday, I went back to the room & got very relaxed (wink, wink) and crashed pretty early.
But, Sunday, 4/19, I hit the Cup.
WOW is all I can say.
Thousands of ppl all just getting along & bonding. I met SO many ppl & contacts it was just insane. Everyone was so chilled out. After hitting a few dabs, the party was on.
Meeting all my favorite seed folks was very cool. It struck me that the Freeland folks really have lost what its like for us growers in enemy territory. I was star struck, taking pics, etc. and they couldn't understand what the big deal was (at least the younger employees).
I was disappointed that Humbolt Seeds were not there as I was prepared to spend the majority of my $$$ on their booth.
It was mostly local seed companies with the exception of MTG Seeds & the Cali Connection. I met a local seed company called the Swamp Boy Seeds. I told them I was Cajun & man they just really were cool. I was a true swamp grower. They asked me to speak Cajun to a few ppl & seem to get a kick out of my presence due to my heritage.
If you've never been and especially if you live in a draconian state/country like mine, you have to go.
I'm so proud to be involved with this plant now after that. I used to feel like an outsider to the world, but now I'm going full speed ahead.

Day 4, April 20-420!
I spent the morning at the 420 Rally at the park. It was a waste of time, but fun. The security guards and the locals weren't very cool. They were making it clear that THEY were legal and too cool for the rest of us unfortunately. Security were cussing at ppl and the locals were asking why we were all there due to it being already legal.
I left to go back to the festivities.

CID Entertainment called me about 2:00pm to let me know they arranged for me to meet some rap artists, but Snoop was unavailable...boo, but I sure understood. It was a mad house.
I'm not a fan of rap so unfortunately I'd never heard of any of them. They were extremely cool & were very interested in my "story". I couldn't understand the rasta guys, but we communicated through blunts. Lol.

Aside from the new found pride I have as a MMJ grower/medicine kind of guy, I was impressed with the openness & bonding everyone had. I'm in the Deep South of the US and very unfortunately there is still a touch of uneasiness and racism. Not there though. I was so impressed there were no attitudes. I made many friends that will probably be for life.
I met a group called Grow 4 Vets. As I'm also a veteran, they were very warm & welcoming. These folks grow & give to disabled vets for FREE.
There were so many giving selfless people.

Oh man, the extraction folks...awesome. I learned I am truly a newbie in that realm. It is definitely a science now. I was hooked up with the guys from Terp Extractions. They taught me so much its unreal. I am able to get an extraction set up from Skunk Pharms through them for a very affordable $ after telling them my "story". I'm getting the MK2 soon.

Thanx for following. It was a life changing experience

The End

Terrific pics, Cajun. Love the one of you and Jorge.....got my hands on his new encyclopedia yesterday.......

I laughed when I heard you had no prepared notes, you devil you, and you slayed it by the sound of all the questions.

So happy you got the chance to witness and experience freedom, it's a beautiful thing.
