2nd Grow: Glueberry & Pineapple Express

Hey all, been a member for a little bit, posted a bit in the dark devil thread from my first grow, started my 2nd grow a few days back and thought I would share the experience. Going with the expert seeds glueberry auto and the pineapple express fast seeds auto. Started out with 18 hour water germination then to 24 hour paper towel, then to peat moss pod. Here's a pic I call day one about 60 hours from start of germination, the glueberry had root growth on the outside of the pod, so had the wife throw them into solo cups until I get home from traveling from work to put them in their final home.

So day 5, transferred the girls into their final pots, 5 gallon mesh pots with pro mix mycorrhizae high porosity soil. Going to feed the the general hydroponics nutrient group, gave them each a splash of the flora gro yesterday and I have them under my viparspectra 450w led light. I was debating putting up my other 450w led, but might be to much at their early stage? What does everyone think?

Hope it's ok to tag you @MrSauga thought you could chime in here and there and be a good neighbor, lol

Hi AJ!

Sure it's OK to tag me. :) I'm glad you did :thumb:

I'm not familiar with the flora gro line as I love using MegaCrop for it's simplicity and results. However it sounds like you have used it before when you say 'each a splash' on the girls. I'm sure you already know to start at 1/4 to half dose until you have an idea how the plants react.

I would think the one 450W light is fine for now. Once you have a few nodes on them you can consider it but for two plants inside your tent you may not need the other at all.
Some pics with the lights out always help so we can get a better feel of the color. Promix contains no food so it's important to keep them on a steady diet once they get going.

Some lights out pics, and yeah used the nutrients on my first grow, I'll throw in some pics from it. First one was a purple punch that was topped 7 ounces, and second was a dark devil 4.5 ounces, bot were lst'd and suppercropped. Hoping to do a little better on this grow since I did learn a little, but looking to improve.

Ok sounds good, thanks @MrSauga and @Reave I lowered the light as well, think I was to high, had it at 36" brought it down to about 31", I'll check tomorrow to see if they've perked up. Also I have the lights on 24 hours, that's how I did my last grow and got pretty good results, but maybe to much?

I think if your lights were too high you would have seen stretch. They look stalled from the moisture. Lowering the light may have an adverse affect on things. I like to go by the rule of change one thing at a time. Let them dry out then worry about the light height. My .02 :)
24 hours for an auto is fine but at an early stage you can't hit them with too much intensity.

So dried them out a bit, they do seem to have perked up a bit, I gave them their first real feeding and lowered the light and added a humidifier that brought the RH to about 45%. Off to work again for the next 4 days, so hopefully the wife listens to my watering instructions lol.
