here are some shots of my res and my refill tank. they are 50 gallon rubermaid trash cans. the plastic they are made with is HDPE so it remains nutral and dosnt bleed chemicals into solution. they have worked out wonderflly!

and here are some of the nug shots with bud and resin starting to form.

this is a shot of the big nug Lexort! this is the one o supercropped really heavy and you were wondering if it was stunted. I wish I could get a shot from the back there is at least 8 to 10 inches of bud growth from the top of the main cola!

Just out of curiosity, I'm very new myself and I'm sure you guys know a lot more than me, but how would the yellowing at the tops be a nitrogen deficiency? With nitrogen being a mobile element, isn't it impossible for the tops to yellow without yellowing at the bottom? I was under the impression that yellowing tops when switching to flower was usually caused by chlorosis from the sudden drop in light period? Again, I have no real experience, just what I've been reading and I'm curious about it.

Also, is the bumpy texture on the leaves an indicator of the beginning of a pH problem?

How much have they grown since you flipped?

that's a good question Qapla! I'd like to know more about it myself. that's what I assumed as well which is why I didn't think there was a probolem myself. I assume it was because I switched off the nitrogen boost too early. today they look perfect with little to no yellowing left. and they didn't stretch as much last night as they did the night before. but they are still stretching. they have grown about 8 to 10 inches from the supercrop 2 weeks ago. it's hard to tell exactly how much they have grown since I started because I supercropped and lolypoped them.

I hav been telling how much they have grown by the plug inn behind the plants on the wall. the one where it's above the plant is after the supercrop and the one where it is at the top of the plug in was today.

Nitrogen deficiency starts from the bottom and works its way up. When i had cut the high N nutes too early after flip my plant pretty much defoliated itself by the end of flowering, thats more of a worse case scenario in the case of your girls i think they are fine. I had just been trying to warn you for next grow. Your definitely in budding now though and it is looking great!

ya I removed all the lower groth but so far I've only had 3 leafs that turned yellow and fell off. Everything has been super green except at new growth which is yellow when she is in crazy grow mode!

either way I appreciate the heads up and I'll be going with N boost through stretch next go!

Ok guys I know nobody really asked for it but I thought I'd go a little in depth with what I'm doing for feeding the girls. I think it's a perfect time to get into it seeing how we have been talking about nutrition for the plants. I just did a full change out removing 15 galons from the system till its empty. I let the system sit with no water while I mix the solution in the 40 galons of water I've had set out from the day before.

here are the components I am using in solution . first is part A you always introduce A First . Then I add part B . this is always in the same amount as part A. this change out i added 320 mils or 8 mils per galon of water. this is for both part and B. After adding Parts A and B I add in whatever booster I am using for the groth stage. I am curintly using the C4 booster and I added it at 5 mils per galon or 200 mils this brought the overall EC of solution to 1.0 - 1.2 on the meeter.

after letting the components mix for 10 to 15 minutes with my 1100 galon per minute pump I then introduced the micros or bennies to solution. this is always at 20 mils per 40 galon of solution. here is what it looks like for thoes who haven't heard of it.

here is what everything looks like once mixed up

This is the booster for veg Start-R. this is the stuff I should have been using up until stretch was done if I'm correct! which I will be doing next round.

20160125_152157-1.jpg

all together I add 840 mils of product to obtain 40 galons of solution. that is Including Part A and B and C4 for the booster. how many Mils of product does everyone need to make one galon of solution? is what you need for Mills simular to what you are having to use?

ok guys last night I noticed the girls were starting to hold moisture between fan leafs that have been stacking up since stretch started. I knew I didn't want to strip them completely naked or do any more lolypoping so this morning I did a slight defoliation of about 70 percent of all full grown fan leafs to help keep moisture from building up between leaves.

this dosnt sound like much but all together it was a pile that could fill 2 5 galon buckets. here is a pic of the aftermath and some nug shots.

Flowering is progressing pretty good man, before long you'll have some nice nugs. Be careful removing fan leaves, you don't get many more from here on out. Many big name growers advise to never remove fan leaves as defoliation nearly always results in reduced yield. The fewer fan leaves you have, the bigger problem you have if something goes wrong as well. Half of my fan leaves aren't doing much for the plant after my pH problem. I'm sure you've probably already read all about both sides of the argument though.

How many fans you got in there? More air movement can help the sweating.

I left at least 3 full size fans and all the smaller fans each branch. there was no method other than just trying to thin the canipy a bit. I appreciate the heads up tho. I would have liked not to remove any of them but the canipy was just way too thick I also noticed some smaller branches wilting and dieing from lack of light so I removed them as well seeing how they were already dieing. all together I really didn't remove much off the plants just where it really needed it.

also I think I could use a smaller fan blowing from the bottom but overall air movement is pretty good. it's just hard for the air movement to reach the bottom of the canipy and may be the reason as you said as to why they were sweating so bad. either way I just didn't want them to be so thick that I run into issues like mold or budrot. which is why I went with the light defoliation. I just hope it dosnt come back to bite me lol! thanks again Qapla! it's nice seeing you arround!

to my supprise everything looks 100%better. the leafs are actually looking alot beter. they have a healthy taco to them and everything is sticking straight out and everything just looks happyer. what do you think?

here is the amount removed. these girls were way too thick. there is about 1 foot of the trash can on the bottom that was not leaves!

20160127_163904-1.jpg

They look pretty good to me, reaching for the light nicely. You may want to look into possibly lowering your nutrients. You've got some burnt tips and the leaves in the trash can are awfully green. Could possibly end up with some lockout if the levels get pushed over the edge or if the nutrient uptake drops for some reason. Are you getting "the claw" on any of the leaves? It happened pretty quick to me and jacked things all up.

Oh, do you have a normal light in there to check on things? Its amazing what weird spectrum lights can hide.

good questions qapla! I turn the lights off and just use the natural light light bulbs I have in my garage to look at them withought the hps on. they are pretty green but everything is budding out really nice so I'm not worried bout it. I do not have any of the claws going on. Everything looks happy and is sticking straight out. there is a little burn at the tips and I believe it's on the wonder woman. in paticulat 2 of the plants. they have been the ones that seem to get the slight yellow at the tips. it also looks amplified by the hps under normal light they are not that burnt looking.

Day 24. sticky craziness here. girls are really starting to get some good sized flowers and are very stinky sticky christaly!
