It’s been 10 weeks of harvesting to me the buds look ready but this is my first time curtain trichomes sticking out a little but have changed colour they haven’t all curled in. Would like to know if it’s that time?

also can I smoke a joint out of it before drying or curing?

also what can I dowith the fan leaves and small buds I don’t use and stems can I make concentrates, oils or edibles and if so can anyone explain how please?

thank you

They look nice and sticky but u will need a much closer shot of the trichs to see if they r ready, not the pistols/red hairs, although they can b an indicator of when to start checking trichs

She looks to be still sprouting nice white pistils, you are likely still another 2wks until they are ready mate.

Yes, you can make oil or hash out of the trim and small bud. As for trying fresh cut bud, put it in a paper bag on top of your fridge for a few days and then you can try it, but it will likely be harsher than the same bud after a cure.

2 weeks takes me into 12 weeks of harvest I know pics not greatest but most of the hairs have turned orange I don’t have magnifying tool. Just to me looks ready for the chop. But don’t want to make a mistake I have been flushing for last 5-7 days as well...

Here some newer closer pics....

If you can’t see the trichs then neither can we.

Get one of those jewelers loupes or a 30/60 X mini microscope roughly $15 online or grow shop, there are other styles and price points too. About US 35 will get a digital version. If you are a grower then you will need one whether to see mite eggs, or trichs, either type will do the job.

Nice plant but your girl has fresh pistils still, shes not ready check back in a week or two. She will fatten up, it sucks, but you will be glad you waited.

I bought a 60x magnifying loop from Walmart’s website for under $10. It included free shipping and came within a few days.

What ever you do, do Not RUSH the process! Step back, breath, and gather some more patience! Yes, this time waiting sucks, but each day closer to the correct time to harvest, is better buds, Equaling, BETTER HIGH my friend!! Seriously though, just work on your patience during this time! Let that Flower BLOOM more!!

Peace everyone!!

Flush is more of a hydro or coco thing, if growing in soil then there’s no need. I would be concerned about feeding them these last few times, you want the plant to have all the nutes available to finish well...Flushing can wash salts out of your media but it can’t change the taste of your bud. This link shows the test results.... InTheShed No flush club

Thats like a month from now right? How can you be sure thats your harvest day??

Its more of a window in time not a day. Harvest could be any day inside a week from now as an example. Your plant still has lots of time.

Cleanliness is a thing specially these daze.

I’m thinking 10/19. 60 days from when I first started seeing the white pistils. But, I want to take them off soon as the trichomes turn amber. Today, I bought 3 containers from ace hardware to wash them before drying.

Vaping works tho.... a little bit better.

I guess... if you can step into a universe where the cannabinoid(s) you're interested in vaporizing do so at 212°F / 100°C instead of between 314.6°F / 157°C and 428°F / 220°C (or thereabouts). Otherwise, it's kind of a waste. You'd get some terpenes and flavanoids, though, whatever portion of them have a lower boiling point than water.

Hi guys I've put it under the micro scope and these are the pics I got. 11 weeks into harvest. Please tell me I'm ready lol to my knowledge and research they look milky cloudy so seems like they are ready. Thank you
