Anyone have experience with CFL compared to HPS

Im running 2x 125w 6500k CFL's to veg, and im thinking about 2x 300w 2700k CFL's for flowering, the lumens for the 2x 300w CFL's are on the low end of what a 400w HPS has, so will i be getting a good harvest? ill be LST'n them and i can keep the lights damn close cause even the 300w CFL's dont put off much heat at all and its in a well vented tent.

well i dont see why not, i have gotten some really good harvest's in the past with only cfl from seed to harvest and not as much wattage as your using, hps will add some weight and density but its not a big deal if all your doing is growing for yourself, some say the lower heat and intensity makes for tastier and fragrant bud,

cool cool. yeah im just trying to keep the heat down.. and tastier and more fragrant does sound nice too
