Anyone got any idea what is wrong with my plants.
Just changed from compact CFL to 300W MH
This problem also seemed to occur with the last MH I had in here
Temp is around 80.6 humidity 44-50%

11.5 f (l) x 4.5 (w) x 8.5 (h) is the dimensions of room
Have 347 CFM 6 Inch outgoing fan thru carbon filter and muffler
Incoming 4 inch 177 cfm nothing connected to it

Multiple fans in the garden, clip fan and oscillating 16 inch

Any help is truly appreciated

Thanks in advance

Yes. The cupping of the leaves is from heat stress- it is probably hotter in those areas than the temp you meantioned. So try a bit more distance- also maybe more air circulation from the movement (desk) fan(s). Good luck

Yah im wondering if the reflector had something to do with it

It was basically a mirror, reflective steal
Its only 300w

Removed it let them sleep for 6 hrs and put the CFL back everything is back to normal

Usually I move the lights higher by an inch or two and that solves it. And I always keep a fan blowing air around between the bulb and the plants.

Thanks for the reply have a small fan pointing right at the bulb

it was about 6.5 feet in the air

Maybe my carbon filter should be higher too its only 7 out of 8.5 feet high

I vent my fresh air directly onto the lamp in order to reduce heat before it gets a chance to touch the plants
