Clear pot?

Could I grow in a clear pot?

It's got no drainage. Impossible to remove plant for transplant without killing it breaking the jar. And roots hate light. Definitely not what you want for growing plants in.

I agree 100% with weasel on this. Actually, you would be better off using the orange pail in the background, if it were smaller.

Growing in a clear pot will cause algae to grow on the inside the algae eat the roots and cause root rot

Interesting.. My guess the uv rays would kill it.. pretty unnatural.

UV rays don't bother the plant the problem is is there is good bacterial and you're bad bacterial when algae forms colonizes and makes bad bacteria
