CMH For A Noobie With A Doobie

Ahh, glad to finally gave the third tent set up and ready to go. So far I've only got the three auto flowers going, but I am going to soak the photos tomorrow.

Tent: 3x4x6 Fusion Hut dual chamber, only using it as one room though. Excess space is for fans and possibly a humidifier, but main 3x3 is for plants.
Light: 315w Silver Star square hood CMH
Ventilation: 4 inch Vivosun turbo exhaust
Fans: small Hurricane clip fan angled at the plants. 9 inch desk fan blowing towards canopy and light.

GDPxGumberry, and the NLxBB are both above surface. I'm surprised the NLxBB actually came through, as I broke the tip of the taproot off when removing from paper towel. The tip was buried in the layers, and popped off.

GDPxGumberry, alive, but still yet to spread its wings

The rest are the NLxBB

Well, I certainly have been neglecting these updates.

Dropped a Blueberry and a Gorilla White Widow in water on the 20th, and are doing just great, they will be shown at the end.

The Northern Lights x Big Bud is doing fantastic. So much larger than the previous attempt under the cheap LED. In half the time of growing, its already twice the size of the other one. I am really looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

GDPxGumberry is still growing some funky looking leaves, but nothing I'm concerned about. Not as large as the other plant, but still looking promising.

Northern Lights x Big Bud is really starting to shine. Just keeps getting bigger and bigger, making me wonder if I should train it, or see what it does naturally.

Grandaddy Purple x Gumberry is now growing some normal looking leaves, so I'm happy with that. Still much smaller than the NLxBB, but I'm still pleased overall. I'm more concerned on the quality, and not so much the quantity. My other tent is for increasing my quantities and varieties.

Gave everyone some nutrients yesterday afternoon, 5/12/19. As they are a week apart and on the same nutrient levels, I made both batches the same.

Per 2L of solution, mix was as follows

Nutri Plus:
Grow A + B -1.25ml/each
Gold - .625ml
Terpenoid Booster - .625ml
Thrive - .625ml

Root Farm PH down - .5ml

Tap water was running at 6.7, so I used a bit of PH down to get it between 5.9 and 6.1, so I was happy.

Plants don't show any signs of needing nutrients, so I dialed it back 50% of what I typically would feed plants.

Until the autos start to flower, my attention is more on the photos. I want to pay more attention to these ones, so I can learn a lot more. I still struggle with losing leaves to unnecessary discoloration, nutrient deficiency or over abundance, and drying out. All caused by me in sure, by not knowing the issue. Now that I have been testing the PH of my water and nutrient solution, I can at least determine if that had any part of the problem.

I've noticed that my tap water PH varies day to day, so I check it before adding nutrients. At first it was low, so I needed PH up, but lately it's been at 6.6, so I needed a little PH down. Only .5ml was ever needed for each direction, as my desires level is 6.0.

My most prized of all, the Blueberry. Nothing I've grown has me more excited than this strain. Just classic.

The Silverback Arachnid is doing just as well, if not a tad better. Cannot wait to see what aromas this combo will give me.

GDPxGumberry is now the tallest plant, even though it was so much smaller for most of their life. Growth is still very good, no hindrance from the low quality bulb. I'm going to try and finish this round with this bulb, and then switch to another iPower for everything after that. No sense in switching now, might as well do a comparison of sorts.

Now that the photos are starting to get a lot bigger, I'm getting ready to transplant them on 16th, which marks the end of week 3. Next step is a 1.5gal Black plastic garbage receptacle. After another 3-4 weeks I will transplant into its final home, either a 3gal air pot, or a 5gal smart pot. Still yet to decide on that one, but will before the time comes.

Quick update on the tents.

SilverStar is now housing some more autos, along with the soon to be flowering photos.

The Vivosun tent is now holding four photos, but two are destined for the outdoors.

Outdoor plants are Respect 4 Gorilla by Expert Seeds, and Super Skunk Kush by Garden of Green

Plants staying inside and trained and topped are Afghan Skunk by Expert Seeds, and Amnesia Lemon Kush by Garden of Green. Training starts soon, probably in the next day or so. Topping will occur later on, after a good amount of training. Perhaps I will throw that out the window, and try my first mainline. Still not fully decided on what to do.

Long over due. New plants all together. Both are set to 12/12.

One side has a White Widow auto, and a Sweet Cheese *auto* that vegged for 8 weeks. The other contains all photoperiods, my first official full indoor run with photos. The White OG, Badazz OG Cheese, Respect 4 Gorilla, and Super Skunk Kush.
