What was the total cost of equipment? And how difficult was it to do ?

Costco, was a 3 sheet set so bought two sets and used the larger ones for my lights. They do get warm on top but I can put my palm on it without it burning it. I have even sat very damp hand towels on it to humidify the tent. fold up about six and stack them.

Do you know the size of them? I dont actually have a heatsink on mine lol just a fan blowing on it.

Nice @CADBOY .. I dig it!! Looks clean too, nice work.
Thanks, There is a reason I didn't show the top of the pans lol. The black stuff on the pans is where I had damp hand towels. And the black wire is actually string from ratchets

Just measured them, They are 20 in x 15 in each. They were bought at Costco in Canada.

It did better than I expected. It was the first time I ever built lights as well as the first time I ever tried growing cannabis. You can read about that in my sig below. It produced some 457 grams or so which is what .74 grams per watt. That is something of a guesstimate as I gave some away before I weighed it. I did try to account for that too.

Ideally you should try to run them as cool as possible to get the longest life from your diodes.
I believe they might also be slightly more efficient the cooler they run.

Mine run very cool at full blast 325w just barely warm to the touch.
And dimmed to 250w they are not even warm, they're actually cool, if you were blindfolded I dont think you could tell the difference from one that's on and burning at 250w vs one that's been off all day.
