It’s been 8 days since they sprouted, I’m just wondering if they look healthy thanks!

white widow autoflower, its my first grow. i have 3 of them in those pictures. i have no clue what im really doing, im using 2 16w philips full spectrum grow lights, they put out 1200 lumes per bulb? not sure if thats good. i have been watering them here and there. just until it looks dry. they're in half a gallon square plastic pots. ( not sure if thats big enough) how much water? so im just looking for any advice. on lights, watering, if they look healthy, how much will they grow under those bulbs? sorry for all the questions, but i plan on transplanting them in my garden this spring, i live in perfect conditions for it. so just trying to get as much growth out of them before i transplant, i run 18/6 light cycle, (not sure if thats the right one) any help would be a blessing! thanks!

You sound like a person just like me:

Something new, lets jump head first in and we’ll figure it out as we go

you will need more light before long and bigger pots if you want to go a plant any size. If you want to grow bonsai plants and invest in some nutes, you could get an ounce or so maybe.

Check out @InTheShed s grows, he grows some able plants in solo cups lol

Well now. The pots will give you some time. A few weeks at least. When are you planning to put them in the ground?

No worries @stoneotter :) I am just starting my 2nd try at an auto so no expert myself lol

First round was with Dark Devil Autos, didn’t produce well and hated the smell when trimming, but after a month or so cure, they were awesome smelling and tasting, beautiful purples as well. Wasn’t a strong buzz, but nice.

This round, trying a Gorilla Shizzle Auto I got as a freebie. Trying it hempy style with Mega Crop under my 400w DIY LED in the seed tent.

It’s not that you ”can’t” transplant them, but it does stress (stall) them, and unlike Photos, Autos have a limited life span. Under any light schedule, even 24hr, they start to flower, generally, between week 3 and 4, and live another 8 to 10 weeks before harvest.

As such, you don’t want them stalled after they have started to flower.

how many more bulbs would i need? theoretically wouldn't they still grow? im only saying that because i dont plan on having them indoors after this month, end of may/start of june they're going into my garden, and the temperature and humidity are perfect conditions, can i make it work?>

End of this month, I feel like a Total idiot now ‍I have also coming in a few days from now true north seeds, here’s what I ordered: (x=seeds)feminized pineapple chunk 3x regular afghani kush x2 AK feminized x3 blueberry feminized x1.

but if these girls don’t make it, I can always try again at the end of this month. I’m kicking myself because I don’t want them to die

No worries about them dying, they are just not likely to reach potential.

Any chance you can put them in the garden in the next week and use some make shift greenhouses for them for a few weeks?

White widow is one of the best strains out there IMO. They look great just make sure you wait until they are dry before you water/feed. And listen to everybody else on this thread.

There's so much to get going all at once. Don't get too upset. I did the same thing and more. Those are a nice new lineup.

DDA is different from all else to me. I don't reach for it every day but when I do it's fantastic a experience. Rock the hempy brother! Plants love it!

UPDATE: pineapple chunk sprouting. Germinate really fast only a day then straight to the medium. Here are the other three white widows growing. One of the plants leaves looks weird.
