Dumb question from a noobie

Hi,

This is probably a silly question. I'm not a total newbie, but it's been a looong time.

Are the white hairs shown on the stem normal? Is it a good sign, or bad?
I just did the first clipping yesterday and didn't notice these, so they must have
gotten longer or whiter overnight.

Thanks.

Re: Dump question from a noobie.

Thanks. There are a few things I remembered from 1986. :)

I'm being a little extra paranoid because I'm growing for myself (medical card holder)
and 2 other patients and I don't want anything to screw it up. Hoping I'll be able to
harvest around the first week of March.

Strong cut, hairs are actually plants' way to retain water and protect stems from cold. More fiber tissue makes big difference when plant is exposed to wind, constant temps change, mostly sativas will have it :)
