Would mylar create hotspots like they say not to use the shiny side of aluminum foil? Or do they make matte mylar? I could go with white painted cardboard too. Not sure if I like the idea of cardboard next to the CFL even though they don't throw off that much heat.

mylar won't create any heat spot and is one of the best things to use for reflection, foil doesn't actually reflect the wavelengths very well from what I've read over the years
 
So Bertha is starting to really grow. It looks like Nemo is slowly but surely trying to catch up to her sister I might need to take her old fan to see what happens.

So let's start with Nemo she really started to veg this weekend and is starting her first dual set. As for Bertha her quad set is moving along just nicely and I also forgot to mention I transferred Bertha on Saturday from her 1 gal to a 3 gal smart pot.
