Hey Gator1!
I just started my first grow using 60% perlite with 40% coco. How often and how much do you water using perlite? What does your feeding schedule look like throughout the grow? I noticed that even with the coco the water seems to drain to the bottom of the bucket fairly quickly.

Nate, thanks for stopping in! I started watering every other day and as the root system grew the plants consumed more water so i determined how much they drank each day and now i water every day. As far as nutes go i have Osmicote mixed in my perlite and i use Fox Farm tiger bloom every other day.

Hello Animal!! I start my seeds directly into 12/12. I tried vegging but i seem to get about the same results without vegging and it takes less time. A win/win situation if u ask me. As far as clones go vegging for a couple of weeks is a necessity for strong root growth before transplanting to perminant home.

I have news. Upon inspecting my girls in day 35 flower i found two stray male flowers buried in the main cola of one plant. They were already bloomed so im sure something got pollinated. I removed them but i fear it was too late. Good news is these are second generation phenos i kept so maybe seeds will be feminised.

Hey Nate. I pulled the two male flowers off. I havent located any more luckily so hopefully i just get a few feminised seeds out of the deal.
