Well my "gift" from a friend was my first decent light set up. He gave me a 400w mh light set up. I gave him 1/2 of my first two grows.

If anyone gives you seeds or clones it would be very appropriate to give them something from the harvest. Definitely.

Just curious when you are getting the clones are they charging you for them, or just giving you the clones? I would think if they charged you for them just as much as you might get them for from a dispensary, the transaction is complete and I wouldn't expect any repayment afterwords. If I got the clones for free, i'd be rather generous, i'd have no problem giving them a couple ounces from any and every future grow. So charge me up front or get a couple ounces from any of my future grows, or clones in the future, they can decide... That said after losing two rounds from the bugs by getting clones from others, i start with seeds and take/maintain my own clones now. And i've finally gotten 4 really kick ass strains right now.
