what are some good high yeilding strains for a beginner indoor grower (in soil)

I've heard Northern Lights is a high yielding strain that is also one of the easiest to grow. For a beginner indoors, I would say avoid any sativa plants at this time and get a nice indica strain that will not grow as tall, but provide some dense buds come harvest.

wonder woman from nirvana is cheap and yields very high, nice dense buds, 9-10 weeks flowering time, and a powerful smoke.

Why no body told me not to start with sativas...

For my first grow, 3/4 of my plants were sativa dom. One was NL but turned out to be male. The indica was Sensi Star x Hindu Kush. Had 1 female, it is white widow. Idk why you were told not to grow sativa. I had no probs. But i think it may have to do with the cold.

If you want to grow a sativa go with C-99. Easy, fast, and potent high. Not a bad yielder.
