Thanks, I am expecting some PURPLE Color on the GSCE soon, a lot of her Trich stems are
filling a really nice dark purple and thinking maybe I should lower the temp on her for a
while once I take the Blackberry

Nice, I find myself spending more time on my environment now since the kit runs on AUTO Pilot
and I am sure that alone is doing wonders

Been looking into RED / FAR-RED, pfr & pr and thought I would post
some plans for my next run​

From what I have learned so far in my limited research is that
OUR plants are woken up using
660nm (RED)
and put to sleep using
730nm (FAR RED)

I plan on trying this next run and hoping to just be able to
turn on (switch on and off pfr and pr) using my 660nm T5's
and a set of 730nm led lights,

At start of my flower change over I will use them instead of
changing the light times, want to see if this will initiate flower
without having to change day time hours.

the T5's will come on 15 minutes before the rest and
the 730nm will come on 5 minutes before and 10 minutes after
sunset. This I am hoping will allow me to not have to change my
light schedule at all

OTHER BITS OF INFO

Seems the nm readings are always + or - 10 so a
730nm will hit 720 to 740nm

Old incandescent type bulbs are a source of FAR-R

For sure You should see some of the stuff I pass on
apparently a lot of folks start a grow and then quite, leaving some
really nice stuff on the cheap

Recently passed on THREE new 5 x 5 x 7 tents at 30.00 each and if I purchased them all I bet
I could of talked them down to 20 each but just dont see me having the space anytime soon

Also found a nice full NITROGEN tank with reg for 100.00 I think it was, and was going to use
it to try and fill the COB bag with Nitrogen before sealing but since I did not know what the
actual result would be I passed

I Probably spend to much time looking

PER-PLANT its costing me approx 250.00 per plant (ADD COST OF SEED)
While running 2 plants in small 2 X 4 X 7 Ft tall tent
This is @ Northern California Elec cost and is calculated for a 5 month grow
including Elect & all other products used

The Actual Kit Product cost is only 8.5% of that total
or ONLY 2.09 Per Gal of soil used (this calculated using the single kit, bulk kit cheaper)

ADDITIONALLY
A 10 gal pot cost is ONLY 20.90 Dollars per plant (again this can be less when buying bulk).
I have paid nearly this much for 1 seed

BTW I am being charged 0.16KWH (average of entire bill including taxes and other charges)
VEG = 75.00 Month Running 16 on / 8 off
FLOWER = 65.00 Month Running 11 on / 13 off

So far just under 200 gallons of water for 2 plants & Humidifiers this grow

The ELECTRICAL ENVIRONMENT EQUIPMENT have all been averaged into monthly totals

Elect Items Used
ALL small fans, Heaters, Humidifiers, Water Pumps, Air Pumps, Lights, Swamp Cooler, De-Humidifier,
Occasional portable AIR CONDITIONER, CD Player 24 hr Rain Forest Cd, Intake & exhaust with Inline fan,
Large Heat mats, small heat mat, Aquarium Heater, timers and POWER USAGE Monitoring meters.

FINAL NOTE:
If I can achieve 5 oz per plant (almost always at least 5) that's 50.00 oz top shelf product
That I know is pesticide clear and Clean. This will always be getting cheaper as I ad my CL

Still need to finish editing and upload my picture update for the BLACKBERRY
She is now on the 48hr Dark before final harvest. Was thinking of trying a double
harvest by taking only the tops but then realized if I do that I wont have the long
branches to hold onto when I wash the buds so decided to just finish her all at once

Just about finishing this up. I think it went very well in the attempt to show how the
RIM mount SCROG POT is used with the KIT but also want to add I can do better,
this was a short VEG (6 weeks) due to wanting to start the switch as soon as I could after transplant.
I still had her in the Finish Pot for an extra 3 weeks before flip, This resulted in the NET
did not filling in as much as I would of liked but still very acceptable.

I won't be surprised to hear that the kit costs me double what it cost you, after shipping. That would mean $40 a plant every three months or so. I'm still waiting to hear back though.
That's a very large increase in my nutrient expense- all other considerations aside.

Ok DB got back to me. Looks like the kit will cost me about $160 Canadian.
It's a price jump. For the amount it can grow and the repairs that's still very reasonable.

No not accounting for re-use. Better Breakdown coming.

I used a simple breakdown from the cost posted using the smallest kit,
Since the amounts provided in the smallest KIT are only enough for the ONE
42 gal run of soil. ( 88.00 / 42 = 2.09 ) Not including Pro-Mix or EWC

Additional products are needed to Run again BUT at that point it Gets Cheaper.

Buy Bulk Kit or Bulk Products it gets cheaper again.

At the most its only 2.09 per gal of soil (US Cost) used, Less the Pro-Mix & EWC,

No PH Meter cost or PPM Meter cost or
time spent taking readings, Less problem with Pest ..... I LIKE IT

EDIT: OH the Pro-Mix and EWC has been included in my total per plant cost but
NOT included in the 2.09 per gal of soil KIT Cost. I can correct that with the update

The pictures below were taken at the start of the 48hr dark period, harvested 2 days later 4/20

I decided to break up the posts. Since I was busy and did not have enough time to post the progress
and now have a lot of pictures to post it should be easier to follow this way

Later today will be the FINAL 10 Gal POT Roots at FINISH
and later this week Pictures of the HUNG DRY buds just before Jarring,
along with weight PRE-CURE.
