Indoor Soil Chemdawg Grow 1000W - First Time

hey everyone! been trying to find a good marijuana growing forum to join, i think this looks like a good spot

okay, so this is my first real try at growing, looking for some constructive criticism/opinions on it

Indoor
Chemdawg - hybrid - 6 plants
Soil - 2 parts FF Ocean Forest to 1 part FF Light Warrior
Nutrients - FF grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom...flushed with sledgehammer flush
5 gal pots
1000w MH for veg, HPS for flowering
Temp - Veg 74-78, Flowering - 68-78
GH - Veg 40-60%, Flowering 35-45%
Watering every 2-4 days thru the whole grow
Pests - Spider Mites in first week of flowering, caught early, treated with mighty wash 3 times, trimmed up, now 1 week since last treatment looking like the problem has been solved, no webs or mites to be found anywhere

timeline -
recieved clones aug 27th, fixed pH sept 12, put under 1000w sept 17th, put into flowering oct 16

Got 6 chemdawg clones on aug 27th...left approx 2-3 ft from a 400w MH with no reflector for 2.5 weeks...also had a pH mix up for the first 2 weeks and stunted the hell out of them....basically lost 2.5-3 weeks of them just staying alive, not growing...finally the pH was fixed, we pick up the action on sept 12, just after the pH had been fixed, just before getting my 1000w MH set up, grown in the corner of a room surrounded by mylar for vegging, moved to a 6.5'x6.5'x6.5' grow tent for flowering, also using a 6" inline fan exhausting hot air to outside

the trichomes are really starting to come out, im pretty stoked! i cant take full credit for these plants tho, i have to admit the friend i got them from is an amazing grower, and i got really really healthy clones, and amazing genetics...i think both of those things have a great deal to do with why they didnt die, and why they ended up so healthy

any help with the leaf discolorations would be greatly appreciate.....it looks like its effecting higher growth

okay, so the pics should be gettin better now....the buds are really startin to come out...and bulk up.....5 weeks into flowering

Nice setup I also got a 1000w grow going on did you start them in 5 gal pots ?

i got the clones when they were maybe 6 inches tall from the rockwool, and put them directly into the 5 gals

11/24 the hairs are turning

okay, the holidays are over, finally gettin around to updating....harvested the 10th of dec, early for sure, they were all falling over and starting to kink oh well....great problem to have

HARVEST DAY 12/10

they hung dry with the sugar leaves on, in the grow tent...the humidity was like 20% so they were fairly dry after 3 days, then they
were taken out, put in a trash can (still on the branch) and an airpump pushed kept things from getting moldy and they dried really evenly. some dried product, before curing 12/17

FINAL YIELD: 17oz 20g dry

i have to say for my first grow, i was blown away....i cant wait to get onto the next one in about a week! the weed STINKS, its awesomely chemical smell almost smelled bad during flowering, but its turned into such a glorious smell now...also its so sticky it wont go through a grinder :lol:

because of the early harvest its an extremely speedy sativa high, i also believe i got a sativa dom phenotype because of their stature and the high....i do believe i have found a great hobby

Great journal. my chemdawg are on week 10 of flower and the hair have not even turned yet or have as much crystal's as yours have, how many days in flower were yours???? thanks

i chopped them 1 day shy of 8 weeks into flowering....but i had to cut them early cause they started fallling over and a few branches kinked under the weight of the nugs
