Is it dead?

So I got up to go to work 2 days ago and my young plants were great, turned light on and went to work... 8 hours later (4 week old plant) it it was micro sized and looked dead, not sure if it's still alive? And what the heck happened to make it turn sooo small? Stalks are still firm. See images of before and after... it's so crazy... never seen this happen. Thought it was lack of water, are there steroids I can give it? Should I just "Let Go" I can attach full pics if needed but I cropped them.

What kind of light,and how close to the plant is it?
I ask because it looks like a heat problem.
It's not dead yet,but it is in critical condition right now...

I am using bestiva 1500 watt..... I raised the lights... since last post I moved them to 300 watt .... sad just cant believed they became so small, with strong stalk.... 3cm lol
