Last grow died as i could not control the heat in Cyprus, plus had crap soil and never Ph'd the water. Summer is over and i am ready to start again.

Introduction.

Growing 4 Blue Mystic , following the good work from dutchman1990 and using his last journal as my handrails. I am in Cyprus so getting hold of Nutes, soil and first aid difficult.

Grow room.

Bought package from growgenius.co.uk consisting of:
Mylar Tent 100x100x200cm
Light - 300W LED Mars Hydro ( 400W on way )
Carbon Filer
2x mini fans

Nutrients.

Voodo Juice
Calmag
Bio Nova Hydro Super Mix NPK 7-4-5
Overdrive

Soil.

Canna Coco Professional Pro Soil


Grow Method.

Seed dropped into water for 24 hours
Then placed into wet towel and plate method 24 hours
Seeds will be places into peat pods
Seedlings will be transferred to 42L Fabric Pots
Planning on growing 2 using LST and 2 using Quadline

Day 1 - 14 October 2019

4 x Blue Mystic seeds all had roots showing this morning from wet towels, so have placed into peat pods and left in a small warm room with bright light bulb above to encourage growth. Not in the grow tent with LED lights yet, plan to leave for a good few days here.

48 hours in jiffy pods and all four have sprouted tho one is proper stretching. Will have to bury into small pots later if it keeps going. Other three popping out a little.

Day 2

Transplanted jiffy pods to 1.5 lt small pots with 70% soil 30% perlite. One did not look too good.
This morning checked on them. 3 look healthy but looks like one might not make it. Will spray throughout day but jiffy pods were still wet so will leave another 24 hours before first water.

Days 3

Think seed four has died. There is a stem but no head or leaves. Will give a few more days.

Remainder are stretching and growing but I do have some concerns.

Getting tip burn in one already. Today I have frost small drink of water. Ph’d to 6.0. Just enough to go round the jiffy pod buried and a spray of same water.

Temperature problem. Was hovering around 33c (91f) so have introduced a small air cooler to try bring it down.

Day 4

Looking better today with lights higher and temperature dropped to 85 F. No more tip burn and grown a bit over night.

Day 5

Nothing new. Little more growth. Still looking healthy. Gave each one 200mls ph water 6.0 and a spray. Will spray throughout the day. All good so far

Day 6

Looking good, growing outwards and can see second set of leaves just coming on top -= happy with grow so far, tho wish i could get temp down below 85 just a bit , but does not seem to be effecting them

Day 7

Introduced 1ml of Voodo juice and 1ml calmag to 500ml of ph 6 water and shared between the three seedlings

Looking ok. Second set of leaves forming and growing well

Day 8

Still looking ok. Slowly growing. Just misting today.

Day 9. Nothing exciting. Just some misting

Day 10. Looking little droopy so mixed 500ml of water. 1mg of voodoo juice. 1mg of calmag and ph’d to 6 and shared between 3 plants. Start of a few new tiny sets of leaves. But looking good I think.

Day 11

Ok so I think I made an error with humidity. Plants are not looking happy today. Drippy and soil starting to get little mold. Pretty sure it’s down to the humidity being so high. 85 % plus all the walls inside grow room are soaking.

I cleaned all the walls of water. Dried all the standing water from run off yesterday in the trays. Leaving door open for a while to let all settle and see what tomorrow brings.

Day 12. Soul was not drying out so dug emptied out most of it and replaced with new soil.

Day 13. Still don’t look too well. All droopy now but hopefully they will recover. After 5 days of no water and as it is as dry soil I gave a small drink. 500mls of ph 6 with 1mg voodo juice and 1mg calmag between the three. Let’s see what tomorrow brings as looking sad.

Day 14. Not much change. New leaves looking ok but bottom ones looking droopy
Still.

Day 15. Looking like they are recovering but going to loose a couple of first leaves as gone brown at tips and look like dying.

Last post for a week as going away but will water before I go as soil looks bone dry. Only 600mls. 1mg voodoo juice and 1mg calmag with my friend to re water the same in 3 days. Finger crossed.
