I have been growing for back and forth for about 8 years. Only recently i started to get a bit more serious. Resulting in getting two tents, one for veg and one for bloom.
About 10 weeks ago i popped 16 seeds. The idea was to pick the best 8-10 plants out of those, take clones and go perpetual. All 16 plants turned out so nice and lush that i decided to keep all 16, flower 8 in each tent insted of using one for flower and one for veg.
Both tents are one week into flower
Anyway here are the details about the grow:
Strains:
Humboldt seeds - Green Crack, 3x
BC bud depot - Girl Scout Cookies, 3x
Female Seeds - C99, 2x
Kera seeds - Venice beach afghan, 3x
Nirvana Seeds - Northern Lights, 4x
Dinafem - Critical, 1x
Veg:
All plants were vegged for 9 weeks under 2x 233w LED in a 240x120 tent.
Medium:
60% coco, 30% perlite, 10% wormcastlings, bat guano and bonemeal.
Pots:
Pots are 18l i think
Lightning:
I got many different lights. For this grow one tent will hold 2x600w Hortilux super hps, white parabolic reflectors, verticle bulb. The other tent got 400w hps on a horizontal reflector in the middle plus 2x 233w LED on the sides of the HPS. i Also got 3x 250w CFL and a mars 2 300w led if needed.
Vent
Both tents with outline fan only. Carbon filters outside of tents. 3x clip on fans in each tent.
Temps and Humidity
Daytime temps are good, nighttime temps are a bit too cold atm. But the summer is coming!
Humidity 50%-70%
PH, nutes etc:
Trying to keep PH between 5.8 - 6.2
When it comes to nutes i use mostly Advanced Nutrients
AN Veg a+b
AN Bloom a+b
AN b52
AN voodoo juice
AN big bud
AN overdrive
AN Rhinoskin
Sensi zyme
CalMag
Roots Exceluator
Great White mycorrhizae
(Might have missed some)
Pests:
Have had huge problems with spider mites in the past, but i am starting to get it under control thanks to spider mite predators. ("Countermites" that eat spider mites). I have found that the best way to control them is to pick a strain they dont like. Critical sensi star for example. Totally immune.
One of my favourite things about growing is experimenting with the trim and popcorn buds. I get ALOT of this stuff. I mostly make BHO which i purge into shatter or wax. I also like making my own cannaoil (edible). My oil is very strong and tastes pretty good.
So if you have any questions about extracting trim or making edible oils dont be afraid to ask.
