It really depends on what light you are using. I can't tell what you are using but it looks similar to a self-ballast 300w? cfl
If that is the case, then as they give off so little heat you can go inches away without any problems.
As you can see, your plants are stretching a little too much which is an indication that you need to move the light/s closer.

top your pots up with more medium also.

I now have 5 plants under a single 200w dual spectrum CFL, bubblegum, white kush, caramel , NYC diesel and critical mass

I place my CFL 1-2 inches from my seedlings. You can go much closer.
