Magnesium deficiency?

Not a magnesium deficiency - looks more like a pH problem.

I was seeing that early on with mine. It started on the lower leaves and slowly starting working up. It was light spots that would progress to dark necrotic patches. I was using 8.0ph spring water prior to starting nutrients. So I figured it may have had to do with that.
I also had my fans blowing pretty hard at her as well.
What I did was move my fan. And then did a heavy watering with proper ph, and let it runoff about 4-5L from my 5 gallon smart pot.
I never saw it again!
My pics show it’s progression over the course of about 5 days!

I was hoping no one said that. Bet you it is because I’ve been trying to get lucky with no ph pen. Gonna have to go get one today. Thank you!

Yeah I probably have a ph problem, going to have to correct it quickly. Gonna go get a pen today. I watered last night should I still flush later today?

I should also mention, I removed the affected leaves! They did not get better!

I wouldn’t if you did a feed last night. I had the very same issue. I really wanted to flush, but didn’t want to overwater. So I just waited the few days, and then gave em a good watering.

Alrighty, hope she makes it. I didn’t think pH the whole time because I’ve been using the same water and never had problems.

Your spots are still light and not that progressed. So a few days will just cause it to further work it’s way up that leaf.
I did wait to remove the affect leaves until I did the heavy watering. As I was concerned if it was a deficiency, and I just removed the leaves, it might just start one node up!

Update .. I had a huge ph issue. I’m actually laughing super hard because I don’t know how 8.8 ph made a plant this green for this long. Definitely fixing it thanks everyone!

If your new ph meter came with the calibration goodies, make sure you do that first. My first meter was a cheap piece from amazon, and was drastically off.

You just get away with it sometimes mate. I'm currently growing in 7.4 with coco cos I lost my ph pen. Should be ruining them but they're loving it. Mid bloom now and no problems the full grow. I'm confused but not complaining lol.
