Re: New Grower here. Need some advice

Hang Them Wet, And Let Them Dry Slowly, In A COOL, DARK, DRY, PLACE. The Only Moisture, If You Are Gonna Room Cure, Is The Fresh Buds You Hang In There Every Day. And As Far As Drying In Glass Jars Go, Make Sure That They Are ALMOST DRY, The Little Crows Feet(THAT ARE THOSE THREE VEINED, LEFT OVER FROM LEAVES FROM Doing A Partial Manicure, That Are Always On Your Buds No Matter What!!! When You Get Ready To Move Them To JARS, These Should Be Able To Break Right Off, And If The Main Stem Is Just About To The Point It Snaps When You Bend It, That Means There Is Just Enough Moisture Left To Cure In Jars. And Yes Let Them Breath About 5-10 Minutes Every Day, Just Remove The Lid/Lids, And Let Them Expell The Old Air And Moisture, And Breath In The New Oxygen, But Only For A Few Minutes, You Want To Keep Some Of The Moisture Till They Are Cured, About 2 Weeks, And After About7-8 Days, Sometimes Less, Sometimes More, Depending On The Amount Of Herb And Size Of Jars You Are Dealing With, You Can Stop Breathing Them Every Day. EASY AS PIE, Phantom!!! SINCERELY, JAMESTHEGREEN:thumb:!!!

Re: New Grower here. Need some advice

Okay, curing doesnt sound that hard. And it has to hang in a dark place? I knew a cool dry place but i wasnt sure if you should have it in like a dark closet sorta thing or just hangin out in the room . thanks for all the advice. if im successful with growing i'll definitly cure my buds, expecily since it doesnt seem hard at all :p

Re: New Grower here. Need some advice

Thanks Again JAGA,And Yes It Is A BUZZ Living Here, But Do Not Let That Fool You, Because Of All The Work(IT IS FARMING,OR AS SOME OF US LIKE TO SAY,BOOTLEGGING,EVEN LEGAL AS THEY HAVE TRIED TO MAKE IT, THOSE FEDS, I TELL YOU!!!) But Man JAGA, After 20 Years Of Mostly Growing Every Year, Being In The Marines(I NEVER SMOKED, TILL I GOT OUT, OR HAD AMPLE TIME TO CLEAN MY SYSTEM OUT,AND EVEN THEN, DUE TO HONOR, AND OATHS I HOLD SACRED, I REALLY DID NOT SMOKE, UNLESS I WAS IN BETWEEN BEING OUT,AND THEN GOING BACK IN, IT WOULD STOP). I Once Went 8 Years With NO Smoking, My Last Tour Of Duty Before Retiring.

If You Plan On Moving Her, Be Ready To Be Treated As An Outsider At First, As This Is A Small Community, We All Pretty Much Know One Another,Or Their Relatives,ETC. So If You Come, Make Sure You Have AMPLE CASH, And A Place To Stay. Around Harvest Time Loads And Loads Of People Congregate At The Grocery Collective,Supermarket Parking Lots, All Over The Place, This Puts A Lot Of Locals Off, Because Most Are Either YOUNG KIDS(WITH ONLY DREAMS, THAT SADLY ARE USUALLY BROKEN AFTER A YEAR, BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO WORK ETHIC, AND ONCE SOME GOOD LOCALS TRY THEM OUT, IF THEY DO NOT WORK WELL, THEY ARE BLACKLISTED) You See A Lot Of These KIDS Think It Is Gonna Just Be One Big Harvest Party, Once They Realize That The Work Is Hard,Tedious,TIRESOME,DIRTY And Just Plain EXHAUSTING, Their Interest Lags Really Fast, Then A Lot Of Them Turn To Stealing Others Hard Work, I Do Not Need To Say What Is Done To Those That Are Caught, They Are Not Killed Or Anything, JUST RUN OUT OF THE AREA,WITH ALL US OLD GROWERS INFORMING EACH OTHER WHO THEY ARE, THEY DO NOT LAST LONG, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE TAKEN WELL OUT OF TOWN AND TOLD HIT THE ROAD!!!:laughtwo: Also You Have To Beware Of Growers That Like To Come Down And Act As Though They Wish To Hire You, Only To Use You As SLAVE Labor, And Never Paying You A Wooden Nickle, I Know, Sad But True, PEOPLE CAN BE EVIL!!! I Stay Away From Both Types, The Dreamers And The Slave Masters. I Have A Really Good Group Of Family And Friends That Help Us Out, When I Was In The Marines, Even Though I Was Growing, I Could ALWAYS Count On My Family To Have My Back When I Had To Deploy For Combat, I AM/WAS An 0300, In The Corps, That Means The First Ones In, The Last To Leave, Or Yes, As We Call Ourselves, You Guessed It, A Grunt( I AM PROUD TO SAY I FOUR COMBAT DEPLOYMENTS UNDER MY BELT(AND I MEAN COMBAT, WITH FOLKS TRYING THEIR BEST TO KILL YOU, My First Was Gulf War One, If Interested, See Battle Of Al-KHAFJI My Second Was In Iraq, The Battle For Fallujah, My Third Was The Attempted Pacification Of The ANBAR Province, And My Last Was Roaming All over helmland In Afghanistan, Check Them Out If You So Care, And Perhaps You Will Get A Better Idea As To What Type Of Man I Am. I Really Hope You Check Them Out JAGA, But Because Of Your AGE, I Doubt They Will Hold Much Interest For You. This Is How WE DO IT, Family, And Friends Of The Family, That WE Have Known At Least 10 Years, Occasionally We Will Find A Good Worker, And Keep Them, But They Are Few And Far Between, JAGA, Could You Be ONE OF THESE??? The Work Is VERY HARD AT THIS LEVEL OF PRODUCTION, I Am Talking About 14-16 Hour Days, A Little Sleep, Then Right Back At It!!! Not Just Planting SEEDS Everywhere, Like Most UN-INFORMED SEEM TO THINK,HELL, THIS JOB IS A SLOW GRIND THAT TAKES SO MUCH WORK, AND ENERGY OUT OF YOU!!!

Since I Am In Command Of All My Workers, My Job Is Considerably Easier In Some Ways, And Harder Due To Responsibility I Must Take For Others, If Things Fuck Up, I Get The Blame, Like If I Let The Plants Go A Little To Long, And Because The KOLAS Are So Dense, They Start To ROT AND GET BOTRYTIS MOLD. So I Try To NEVER LET THIS HAPPEN, My Wife May Be Sick, But I Would Sometimes Rather Be In Combat Than To Be Yelled At And Scolded By Her(WHAT A BRAVE MARINE I AM, SCARED OF MY WIVES IRE, MORE THAN BULLETS OR IED'S, Or SUICIDE BOMBERS!!!) But Hey, SHE WEARS THE PANTS TRULY,(BUT IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE A SECRET JAGA!!!) So If You Come This Way, Bring At Least $3-$5,000 Dollars With You, Preferably In A Bank Like Wells Fargo Or BofA,Hell Any Bank, As Long As We Have Your Bank HERE, So You Do Not Lose It, Or Get Rolled For It. Most People Begin To Arrive Around The Last Week Of August, All The Way Through December,Especially The Ones That Are Skilled(OR THINK THEY ARE SKILLED) At Manicuring Dried, Cured Bud, Most Have Had Some Experience Doing This From Their Own Little Indoor Set Ups, Or Their Friends. But They Usually Turn WHITE When They Realize That Whatever They Did Before, Is/Was, Nothing Like It Is In This Volume, ANYWHERES From 75 To 1,000 Pounds Of Work, Depending On The Garden Size!!! I Keep Only A 25 Plant LEGAL LIMIT Garden, Yet I Yield, Depending On Where My Garden Is, Between 75 To Over A Hundred Pounds Of Medicine(AFTER IT IS DRIED AND CURED, Manicured, And Bagged For Dispensing To LEGAL Purchasers.) It Just Is Not Worth The Risk To Deal With People That Are Not Themselves Legal!!! BUT MAN JAGA, THE WORK, FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR IS NON,STOP, EVEN AFTER GROWING AND HARVESTING ARE OVER, THEN THE OTHER PARTS COME INTO PLAY,MANICURING,DELIVERING,STORING AND FINDING LEGAL BUYERS(I HAVE THIS AREA PRETTY WELL SORTED OUT,FAMILY, AND FRIENDS SO CLOSE AS TO BE FAMILY, I Am A Rambling, Take Care JAGa, Write Anytime, And The Next Time You Hear Someone Say How Easy Weed Growers Have It, SLAP THEM FOR ME, AND LET THEM KNOW WE WORK JUST AS HARD AS OUR ANCESTORS DID DOING THEIR OWN Type Of Farming(CORN,COTTON POTATOES,ETC)

Re: New Grower here. Need some advice

YES FOR SURE!!!CURE THEM, That Way It Brings Out All The Turpenes, And The Better Dried And Cured Your Medicine Is, THE BETTER HIGH YOU WILL GET. This Is A Little Known Fact, Buds That Are Not Properly Dried(NEVER MIND THE CURING YET), Get You Much More Baked, Than Buds That Are Semi Dry, Or Not Dried Well At All. Because THC Reacts Better To Being Dry, As It Allows For You To Uptake ALL THE RESIN RICH TRI-CHROMES, As Well As All The Other Cannabinoids That We Really Are Not Sure About Yet, Proper Drying And Curing Allows You To Absorb THEM ALL!!! That Is Why Some Plants May Only Have, Say13-15% THC In Them, But Because Of All The Other Cannabinoids That Are Present, And Since We Are Just Learning What They Do, These Cannabinoids Enhance The High, Which Means That Certain Combinations Of Them, Will Get YOU Just As Medicated As Plants With With Over 20% THC, But Lack These Other Cannabinoids!!! What A Strange WONDERFUL PLANT(DON'T WE KNOW IT THOUGH!!!:high-five:) So Other Cannabinoids Mean As Much To The High, As THC Does It's Self!!! Cannibinoids Like CBN,THCV,And All The Turpenes We Know Little Or Nothing About, They All Make This Plant Have Many Different, And Wonderful Highs, Speaking Of THCV, Which Is Found ONLY In African Strains,Can Literally Make It So You Do Not Want To Do Anything,Except Maybe EAT,Think,Contemplate,Read Or Just Lay Around Watching Movies Or Playing Video Games And Napping Of Course, Perhaps The HIGHEST I Have Ever Been Was Smoking Malawi Gold And Black, They Wrap The Kolas Up In Banana Skins/Leafs, Bury Them For Several Months In Clay Pots(NOT SURE HOW LONG) Then Remove, And According To Whichever Phenotype Was Buried, As They Do Not Keep Them Separate(AT LEAST THE ONES I SAW WERE NOT), And You Are Sold What Is Known As A Malawi Cob. Some Of The Buds(DUE TO PHENO) Come Out ALL BLACK, But Not A Ruined Black, Kind Of Like Very Dark Purple Herb We Can Get Here, But It Is BLACK, And Will KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF!!!) The Other Malawi Cobs Come Out All Golden, They Are Done The Exact Same Way As The Black Ones, But Because They Are A Different Phenotype, They Are A Beautiful Gold Colored Instead Of Black, There Is Taste Difference Between The Two, But They Are Both EARTHY, The Black Ones More So, With A Hint Of Sweet Skunkiness To Them. The Gold Ones Are Earthy, Very Earthy, But They Have A Pronounced OPIUM??? Sandalwood Flavor To Them??? I Like Both, But Prefer The Gold Ones,Although I Would Turn Neither One Down. I Have Some Malawi Genetics, Just Not PURE, I Would Give A Lot To Get Some Real Malawi Seeds, And A Lot More To Be Taught The Clay Jar Method Of Curing!!! I Have Grown Several African Strains,Durban Poison Of Course(WHEN I GOT THE REAL SEEDS ANYWAYS!!!) Transkeii Green,Swazi Skunk(A HARD PLANT TO GROW, BUT WELL WORTH THE MEDICINE) ROI BERT, Or RED BEARD In ENGLISH, A Nice Sativa, But A Little Weak For Me, Nigerian Black, And Red, A GREAT ALL AROUND SMOKE, BOTH PHENOTYPES, I MIGHT ADD!!! All African Plants Are Sativas, Go Figure, But Do Not Be Fooled By That OLD ADDAGE That Sativas Are An UP HIGH, And Indicas,Afghanis And For Some Reason People Say KUSHES As Well, Are Just COUCH LOCK STONES!!! Smoke Some African Sativas Sometime, Especially If You Can Find It, Malawi Especially, Then You'll Know That There Are SATIVAS Out There That Will Knock You On Your Butt, Make You See Sideways, And Not Want To Do Anything At All, Unless It Involves Eating,Napping,Making Love,Watching(WITHOUT PASSING OUT IF YOU CAN, MOVIES,TV,ETC!!!) So Some SATIVAS CAN COUCHLOCK BETTER THAN INDICAS!!!

Which Tells Me We Do Not Know A Heck Of A Lot About This Plant!!!:hmmmm: Guess We Better Start Studying Harder!!! SINCERELY, JAMESTHEGREEN:thumb:.

Re: New Grower here. Need some advice

I kind off thought it might be that after reading your story mate 4 deployments in that place is enough I would think to either make you an expert wich I think the case is or break you as for being scard of the Mrs well I can tell you its the same for me (on the woman side ) my Mrs has M.S. but when her temper rises I have to take cover I was with her in Manali India an the taxi driver said what she thought wwas the wrong fare she near enough pulled this poor guy out of the window of his car we had to walk up hill to a village called vashist cause of that an it was monsoon . there is a syaing a guy told me the other day an thats the 3 ws that you cant trust work weather & women :wood::loopy: I really take my hat off to you and thanks for those pictures man oh man they are beautiful Are they dry nugs around the 420 jar cause shit there big my grow consists of maximum 3 plants even then it is over crowded . I f we were ever able to come to the triangle I would have to be under your command I have never been to the states my daughter went when she was about 23 she said it was the best holidays she ever had . shame she dont smoke cause I would have loved to have heard about the ganja there cause over here at thet time it was all rather rubish unless a guy would go for a trip to Holland. keep it up you really doing something big :loopy:

Re: New Grower here. Need some advice

I just had alook at your photos, please listen you need to get them into seprate pots. ASAP cause in the last photo she realy looks like she is having a hard , time it cold be she streched too far an she is streesed or it could be that the soil is to wet . But I think that she may die if you do not replant her , the longer that you leave it the harder it will be and she dosent look so perky . try an make her a little more comfertable. An then you will se the change . when you repot her put her in a nice deep pot and put her as far into the soil as poss , I dont think it will be to easy , as you will have the tap roots to deal with so you are gonna need to get it right on the first go , Mary dosent like being trnsplanted so all the best of luck an bleessings to the plants :goodluck:

Re: New Grower here. Need some advice

yeah dont worry. im putting new pictures up tonight. i got a new phone so i can take the pictures. the plant has been in a different pot for about 5 days now. maybe a week. and since its been in the pot a week ago its really been growing. sometimes the leaves kinda go up and act like its cold. like i had my fan going all night. and the leaves on the little one went up like it was cold. both plants still kinda have the edges of the leaves curling up from heat stress but i think its gone down in the past few days. i'll be putting pictures up ASAP

Re: New Grower here. Need some advice

and worse part is. i dont have any big pots. so its in a littleone right now. im gonna buy a big one this week and maybe wait a week til transplating agian. just to give it a little recovery time and time to grow stronger. but the big pot in my picture, would a pot like that be big enough to grow marijuana in. like the big plants NEVER been transplanted. not once. I germinated and put the seed right into the big pot. cause i figured the less I transplate the better.

Re: New Grower here. Need some advice

Re: New Grower here. Need some advice

Well they are looking lots better from what I have been told you could keep them veging for about 2weeks , an yep that is 18/6 the flower period can last for as much as 12 or more weeks it is good to know what strain you have as the instructions will come with the seed each strain has a shorter or longer flowering period . If you know the strain you could look it up in 1 of the seed banks they have all the basic info before getting the seed , any how they look much happier in those pots good luck an blessings to the girls:thumb:

Re: New Grower here. Need some advice

Just DO NOT BELIEVE Everything The Seed Companies Post About When Such And Such A Strain Is Ready(REMEMBER IT WAS THEIR GARDEN, OR THEIR FRIENDS, NOT YOURS!!!), And That One Reason Could Make ALL THE DIFFERENCE AS TO WHEN TO HARVEST!!!:high-five: So Do Like I Do, And Let The PLANTS TELL YOU, When They Are Ready, Besides Those harvest Guides Are Just That, GUIDES!!! Not The Gospel Truth, Just How It Happened(OR DID NOT), For Them!!! SINCERELY, JAMESTHEGREEN:thumb:.
