Peroxide?

not equivalent at all.

peroxide attacks organic matter. aerated water supposedly adds a tad more oxygen to your water.

I find peroxide is wonderful (sprayed on the plants) for attacking spider mites, scale and most every other predator except caterpillars. I would never put it into soil as it also kills virtually every living thing in soil.
 
Hydrogen peroxide is very different then aerated water. 3% hydrogen peroxide can be added at 5-10 millilitres per gallon. Do not use hydrogen peroxide if you are using mycorrhizae of other soil inoculates as it will kill them.
