Rosin presses: How many of you guys make your own concentrates?

I use coconut oil instead of butter. Process is the same. One thing I added was from a different type of concentrate. I found if you rinse your weed a few times you get a lot of that nasty stuff out before processing. I just use cold water and a gallon jug. Slowly pour water over weed and mix slowly. Then let it set for a few hours. Then rinse again. You have to take care that you are not knocking off all the trichomes and washing them all away. I do this 3 or 4 times over 24 hours. Then process as I normally did. It really helps to get any funky flavors out of your butter

What heat do you guys press at? Im just gonna be using trim a rosin bag, parchment paper, hair straighteners (adjustable heat) and a desk clamp.

And also do you know any cheap alternatives to special made rosin bags?

You can buy metal press screens but they are kind of a pain

Ahhh ok good to know. Im using trim to press though
