Started seedling around 2 and a half weeks ago in solo cups, coco , dank genetics dank sherbet , feeding with canna start 1.5ml, rhizo 1.5ml , calmag 1.5ml to a 1 litre water mix. Temps range from 18/19 to 23/24 degrees Celsius !humidity 60-85. I have been feeding every 3 days around 50ml per seedling. Also 18/6

my issue is the bottom layer of growth is yellowing and the top leaves are kinda nice and green but are curling downwards? Photos are attached. Also the coco looks weird because the LED light .

I don't see where you list ph, coco should be fed at 5.8 ph

Seedlings will sometimes do that on bottom leaves. I would not water every other day. My seedlings to 4 weeks old only get fed every 3 days to a week depending on what they are asking for. Make sure your new growth is happy and keep on trucking.
Erm only changing my feeding to every other day now because my environment is pretty warm all day round so seems like it’s drying out. Do you think it’s not under watering from the pics

Yes my ph ranges from 5.5 to 5.9 , I’m sure it doesn’t have to be exactly 5.8, this is not my first grow by the way in coco. But yes I am in the range. Knowing that I’m ph’ing properly anything else?
:Namaste:

Look, there are many answers, not all are correct in your situation.

Seedlings in rockwool at 5.8. Must soak at 5.5 to dissolve certain materials out.

If using dirt, no need to take ph. Just use water. But, you need what everyone needs in this biz. A LUX meter, cheap so get one!

Keep at 4k for seeds or clones with lights. Period. Best light I have found is the 315CMH. Vivosun at $175. Its brilliant, so your problems will just slip away...

They are ‘clawing’ , they are growing and stuff but I don’t know why they are clawing and then eventually yellowing from tips and browning

Update: found some green algae so guess I have been over watering so flushed them and will feed in 4 days time

I just started my grow, this is my girl 11 days after germinating, I watered her once with just ph’d water (5.8-6) when putting her in soil(Pro Mix HP CC Mycorrhizae) Once she broke soil I watered again but this time with first nutes using Advanced PH Perfect Micro/Grow/Bloom which allows use through out entire grow. I have her under a Phlizon 1600W LED(actual wattage 335W) with a Phlizon 600W LED(actual wattage 100W) directed on a 45 degree angle(experimenting) and will use this lighting throughout grow moving accordingly.

What lights are you using again?

Dude, look you have decent growth. Low to the soil with good spread. Depending on the light, and the humidity (might be a bit high). If using nutes, and you have already flushed....well. you have to wait it out. Might be so many things.
After a few days, start tweaking a bit on temp, humidity and light heights. I AM TALKING MINUTE AMOUNTS LIKE 1/2 INCH AT A TIME. Very important that you do not do what I have been doing this whole time....
Major changes all over the place...
Think small changes, then WAIT if you see something better. For like 3 minutes +. No good GO BACK! Get a lux digital meter with bulbous reader, like 20 bucks.
Give a little bit of air movement too, might just see what ur looking for....

So, this is what one probably needs to get started. Get a TENT! Use the 48" from tops. Air flow out top with intake near bottoms.
May have to use a sonic humidifier in the short to start. Now simply use 1 315cmh setup. But a LUX METER! Should be around 7000 LUX, the magic number. Should keep around 78°. Go higher they seem to suffer past 81°. Babies should have a handful of days with a seed mat.
Now I am still tweaking, they have taken a turn for the worst, then miraculously look like they will live.
CMH HAVE A WHOLE LOTTA GIVE! Sodium destroys perminantly, weird out comes for diodes and fluorescents.
So YES I do still reccomend.

Major updates on this subject, look for my other thread "HALP or CMH, what's the deal?"
There I found out my reflection was the culprit, not mine personally!!! Ahhahahah. Naw...
The bumpy silvery caused intense problems. Now, looking like flat white paint or what ever is looking like a winner. FLAT WHITE.....
