Should reservoir lines be descaled?

Hey all,
I wasn't sure if this was the correct category for this post but..

Although I'm not growing hydroponically, I have a 20 gallon reservoir and pump that I use to run drip emitters to each pot. It's a small setup, only 2 to 3 plants max in a 2x4 tent.

I just wrapped up the harvest on my last grow and while cleaning the tent I wanted to ask if descaling the tubing is something that should be done every so often? I do clean the reservoir itself and replace the nutrient water every 3 or so weeks during the grow.

If so, how should it be done? If not, even better.

Thanks!!

Yes you need to sanitize and scrub clean every inch of it for best results and no fungal or bad bacteria builds up if there is any left anywhere it will grow and multiply. I love soil plant water feed harvest dry smoke.
I do sanitize and scrub the res. I'm more talking about the cleaning the lines or tubing. Should I run anything through them to clean them?

I replace the tubing on my hydro setup every time I start a new grow. I use new pots and new medium. It is the safest.
